Brief:

Many of today's environmental problems are due to how we handle waste, today's challenge is therefore how we manage and reduce it. In the municipality of Örnsköldsvik, Miva manages the household waste with the goal that it should be both efficient and environmentally friendly. By using nudging as a tool, the solution should help tenants, especially families with children, to sort their garbage correctly, because it should be easy to do the right thing.​​​​​​​

The family game: Sopjakten
The centerpiece of the campaign is the educational and engaging family game Sopjakten. In short, the game consists of collecting rubbish from the beach and then pairing the trash with the correct pictogram from the signage system developed by Avfall Sverige. The game's characters are also an important part of the campaign as they also reappear outside the game in the forms of posters at schools, stairwells and recycle rooms, among other things.

The characters 
Say hi to the five characters. Mat-Mauri who loves compost and food waste, the Kartong-kungen who is unfortunately stuck in a paper box but is not bitter about it. We have Plast-Pekka who, instead of throwing away the plastic bag, turned it into his superhero cape. Metall-Micke who makes music with his cans he finds on the beach. Finally we have Glas-Clara who to her surprise got stuck in a glass bottle, but she is quite happy because now she can enjoy the view above water.​​​​​​​
